My Story

Living in poverty and overcoming obstacles, I knew from an early age, that leadership wasn't just a role for me; it was survival.

Starting with teaching Sunday School at 14, managing a donut shop at 17, and stepping into consultancy at 20, my journey was marked by a series of leadership milestones. This trajectory continued as I ascended to various VP roles and today, as the Founder and CEO of H.U.M.A.N.S.-1st Coaching and Consulting.

Each step of this journey has been a learning experience, fueling my passion for leading and making a meaningful impact.

A Turning Point

The year 2020 was a catalyst for change. Amidst global uncertainty, I observed widespread fear and struggle.

People were scared, businesses were failing, leaders were panicking, and employees were looking for a way out. All in all, people were sad, stressed, and struggling. I get it because I felt the same way.

This period of reflection brought clarity, and I realized I wanted to do something more. On a broader scale, I became committed that if I could make a difference, I was determined to do it.

The Birth of H.U.M.A.N.S.-1st LLC

It was then that I realized, regardless of the role or industry, a pattern emerged: employees’ core issues remain the same. My response was to capture my learnings in a book, 'Be the Leader Employees Are Seeking,' giving life to the H.U.M.A.N.S.-1st Technique™. But I recognized that leadership skills alone weren't the complete answer.

After all, what if leaders feel they aren’t good enough and aren’t able to put the skills into action? The real challenge lies in overcoming internal doubts and barriers.

Beyond Skills

The Science of Success

I wanted to know more, above and beyond intuition, leadership experience, and my MBA.

This realization led me to explore the science behind our actions and decisions.

My goal was to enrich my understanding of the interplay between our mental and physical states so my clients would receive the best I have to offer.
